This book reveals how so many monks who were spiritually elevated souls, distinguished by their Tapasya, in Jnana, Karma and Bhakti, have adorned this Centre by their presence and deep association in various ways. Similarly many distinguished devotees have had a deep association with this Centre and many of them are nationally renowned for their contribution  in various fields of literary, philosophical and social work. This unique confluence of monastics and lay devotees resulted in the Centre acquiring its own unique distinction, particularly  as the largest Kannada publication centre producing high quality books on spiritual and cultural topics. The Mysuru Ashrama publication centre has so far brought out nearly 480 Kannada books, on spiritual, philosophical and cultural subjects, thereby making its own unique contribution to the cause of Kannada language and literature and dissemination of much needed broad based religio-spiritual values in Karnataka.
