“Swachha Mysore Swastha Jeevana"
The 13th week “Swachha Mysuru Swastha Jeevana” programme which was held today in 7 different areas of Gayathripuram extension which include Jyothinagar, Vishwakarma Colony, Jalapuri, Achar Colony, Gayathripuram. Swami Atmajnanandaji Maharaj, Adhyaksha, Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mysuru, Swami Asimatmanandaji Maharaj, Adhyaksha, Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Dehradun, Sri Sri D Madegowda, EX MLC and Sri Sandesh Swamy, local corporator inaugurated the campaign.
Volunteers visited houses and requested them to maintain the cleanliness in the surroundings. As we take care of our houses, we should also love and take care of our surroundings, public places which belong to all of us.
Police officials and 30 trainees, 200 committed volunteers, 30 corporation cleaning staff and 30 local citizens overall 290 people participated in the cleaning and awareness campaign. Brochure on “Swachha Mysuru Swastha Jeevana” was distributed to houses in the locality.
