3rd Week Swachcha Mysuru (Cleaning Drive) 12.2.2017

“The 3 ^rd week Swachha Mysuru Swastha Jeevana” programme which was launched by Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama for 40 weeks to bring public awareness about cleanliness and environmental protection, was held today in 7 different areas of Vontikoppal. President of Adichunchanagiri Mutt, Mysuru, Swami Somanathanandaji, inaugurated the campaign. Swami Atmajnanandaji Maharaj, Adhyaksha, Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mysuru, Sri D Madegowda, Ex MLC, Sri Nagaraj, President of Sri Rama Kalyana Mantapa, Sri Byrappa, the Secretary of the trust and other trustees  and local leaders Sri S B Manju, Sri K Madesh, , Sri Mahadevu , Sri Premkumar, Sri Himanshu and others participated in the awareness drive. About 250 committed volunteers, 50 local residents and students participated in the cleaning campaign. A brochure on “Swachha Mysuru Swastha Jeevana” was distributed to hundreds of houses in the locality. A team of local volunteers was formed to supervise the cleanliness of the locality.
