Swachcha Mysuru 7th Week

“Swachha Mysore Swastha Jeevana- Harmony of Religions”

The 7th week “Swachha Mysuru Swastha Jeevana” programme which was launched by Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama for 40 weeks to bring public awareness about cleanliness and environmental protection, was held today in 7 different areas of J S S layout, Vidyanagar and Raghavendranagar. Swami Atmajnanandaji Maharaj, Adhyaksha, Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mysuru, Swami Kamalanandaji Maharaj of Ramakrishna Math, Bengaluru, Swami Atmagatanandaji Maharaj of Ramakrishna Mission, Itanagar, Sri D Madegowda, Ex MLC, Sri Nataraj, local Corporator inaugurated the campaign. The participation of local residents in the campaign was a great encouragement and an inspiration to all the volunteers. About 250 committed volunteers, 50 local citizens participated in the cleaning campaign. A brochure on “Swachha Mysuru Swastha Jeevana” was distributed to houses in the locality.
