k “Swachha Mysuru Swastha Jeevana” programme was held on 16.04.2017 in 7 different areas of Ward No 60 which include Indira Gandhi Road, Madakarinayaka Circle, HarishchandraGhat Circle, Anwar Masjid, Ranadheera Kanteerava Circle, Nayakas’ Community Hall and Kannada Kasturi Sangha. Swami Atmajnanandaji Maharaj, Adhyaksha, Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mysuru, Sri Srikantaiah, local corporator and Sri D Madegowda, EX MLC inaugurated the campaign. Volunteers visited houses individually and requested them to maintain the cleanliness in the surroundings. To keep public places clean is everybody’s responsibility was the message of this campaign. About 200 committed volunteers, 30 corporation cleaning staff and 80 local citizens participated in the cleaning and awareness campaign. A brochure on “Swachha Mysuru Swastha Jeevana” was distributed to houses in the locality. Click Here to Watch the Video
