Swachch Mysuru 18th Week

“Swachha Mysore Swastha Jeevana”

The 18th week “Swachha Mysuru Swastha Jeevana” programme  was held on 04.07.2017 in and around Yadavagiri, Yashawanthanagar, Medara block and Rajarajeshwari colony. Swami Atmajnanandaji Maharaj, Adhyaksha, Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mysuru and Sri Nagabhushan, local corporator inaugurated the campaign. Volunteers visited houses and requested the residents not to throw their waste in the public places and avoid using plastic bags. They were also requested to take care of their surrounding public places as they take care of their houses. 220 committed volunteers, 25 corporation cleaning staff and 50 local residents overall 295 people participated in the cleaning and awareness campaign. Brochure on “Swachha Mysuru Swastha Jeevana” was distributed to houses in the locality.
