“Swachha Mysore Swastha Jeevana”
The 16th week “Swachha Mysuru Swastha Jeevana” programme was held today in Vijayanagar, Manchegowdanakoppalu, Hebbal 2nd stage, Madegowda circle, Snake Shyam road.Swami Atmajnanandaji Maharaj, Adhyaksha, Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mysuru, Sri D Madegowda, EX MLC, Smt Vanitha Prasanna, local corporator Sri Mahadevappa inaugurated the campaign.
Volunteers visited houses and requested the residents to take care of surrounding public places as they take care of their houses.
200 committed volunteers, 20 corporation cleaning staff and 40 local residents overall 300 people participated in the cleaning and awareness campaign. Brochure on “Swachha Mysuru Swastha Jeevana” was distributed to houses in the locality.
