Swachcha Mysuru 20th Week

“Swachha Mysore Swastha Jeevana”

The 20th week “Swachha Mysuru Swastha Jeevana” programme was held on 18th June, 2017 in and around Veene Sheshanna Road, Kurubageri, Kshethraiah Road, D Subbaiah Road, D Devaraja urs Road and Narayanashashtry Road.

Swami Atmajnanandaji Maharaj, Adhyaksha, Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mysuru, Sri Vasu, MLA, Sri D Madegowda, Ex MLC and Sri Prashanth Gowda, local corporator inaugurated the campaign. Volunteers visited houses and requested residents not to throw their waste in public places and avoid using plastic bags. They were also requested to take care of their surrounding public places as they take care of their houses. 200 committed volunteers, 30 corporation cleaning staff and 60 local residents overall 290 people participated in the cleaning and awareness campaign. Brochure on “Swachha Mysuru Swastha Jeevana” was distributed to houses in the locality.
